Just a stone’s throw away from our previous visit at The Pilot Inn, Eastbourne. The Ship Inn we found to be far more spacious. Large leather sofas dotted around the pub and it had a very calm ambience about it.
Ian had the chargrill chicken and Ellie opted for a crisp lasagne which had a tangy tomato filling. We both agreed the service was excellent. On the table next to us were two elderly members from the Meads community celebrating their wedding anniversary.
Following our relaxing meal, we retired to the leather sofas where we continued to relax beside the fire with our drinks. We ordered a few more drinks as the event went on and took a few photos (selfies). It was a relaxing and enjoyable evening consisting of good food and some deep meaningful conversations.
The Ship Inn, Eastbourne scored a total of 70 out of 100 available points and therefore has been awarded a gold trophy. See the complete score breakdown below.
