The Sussex Ox, Milton Street

Visited: December 2017

This was so good! We arrived and it was super christmassy. We got our table and there was this lady sat down on her own in the corner of the room. We thought she was a member of staff! She was sat there for forty five minutes before her friends turned up.

Ellie opted for the fish and chips – not exactly festive but then again there wasn’t a festive menu. We were quite disappointed at that and all ended up having generic pub grub. The fish wasn’t the best, the batter was raw! Ian opted for the burger and chips and was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked beef and topped with onion rings.

We were accompanied on this pub visit by our friend Dan. He wore a beanie for the entire evening. He then ate the cheese rind and knocked over the salt from the next table! It added to the entertainment for the evening.
