The Tiger Inn, Eastbourne

Visited: May 2018

An iconic and beautifully located pub. We visited in May 2018 and we were blessed with lovely weather and a warm and sunny evening. We sat out on one of their picnic benches directly outside the pub on the village green. A relaxing spot with a good view.

The reason we visited this pub was we noticed how nice it looked from where have passed it before in the car and Ian was also aware that it was famous in the sense it had been used in a few TV shows, etc.

Ellie had a really good pimms and lemonade. She then went on to order smoked salmon salad and Ian went for the hunters chicken. Ellies smoked salmon salad was salty. It was limp salad and very overpriced. The hunters chicken was submerged in a pool of rather poor BBQ cream cheese sauce.

We had dinner with a crow who kept giving us the evil eye. There was a free car park just around the corner from the pub which was ideal.
